Altered Quickpages - November Guest CTM

Well, yes, I've been busy again..LOL ..this time with Quickpages as you can see when peeking to the left.
I'm really not the "Quickpage kind of girl" , so these are my very first ones, but after I got some emails where people were telling me that they love my stuff but don't dare using it because they fear not being creative enough to "step out of their comfort zone" and scrap my stuff and wondering wether they could scrap their every day pics, i decided to do some Altered Quickpages just to give them a start with my products. So what do you think? I have to admit, that I love them and love how they turned out!
Of course I had to try them myself, too! So I did a LO with Josh yesterday and another one with Jana, but saved it for web too small and was too stupid to keep my original psd...that's me..OMG! But I've always been that screwed..just was hoping it might get better when I get older..but NO...LOL..no chance.

And there is more news for me to tell you and I must say that I'm pretty excited to announce my new guest CTM for november...oh to be exact: there will be 2 new members as my guest CT is pregnant and will be having a baby by the end of this month ! Congrats !!!

So I proudly announce my new Guest CT member for this month: Please welcome the fabulous and talented AMY MARTIN !!! I'm so excited !!!!

Isn't this really gorgeous ?!! Yes, it is !!! So stay tuned for her great layouts!

I'm also working on some blog changes, and if I wouldn't always be this tired in the evenings when i find some time to do my stuff, I'd sure have this done already. And of course I'm working on some new designs but I'm not really convinced with my papers so far.. so I need to redo them again..there it is my old problem...if I feel that there's something missing or not right, I can't put it to the store. Maybe you'd love it but I'd always feel uncomfortable when looking at it LOL.

Josh survived his bad "crash" pretty well - thanks God! - and he didn't try to climb on Jana's bed again (- until now- don't know how long this shock will last). He is also getting used to the kindergarten and loves going there. First thing he does when entering his group, is to check the situation . Which means that he's heading directly over to sit on the big "cuddle sofa" to watch the group....he then is giving me a big hug and lets me go. After some minutes of "contemplation" he is ready to "dive into" the rest of the chaos LOL . Great way for him to start and I'm totally fine with it as he doesn't have to scream, shout or cry for Mom as some of the new kids do and as Jana did when she was his age. She cried her eyes out until I was gone. Then she stopped and all was fine. She did this for 4 weeks and it was costing us nerves . So I prefer Joshua's way of handling this great step! Love it! Incredible little guy!
So now I have to go on working on my blog changes, and so I'll leave you now!
Have a great day and take care wherever you are!
Bye, see you,
Sylvie

Ornamental !!! New doodles at the store!!

So you think that I am crazy uploading doodles again? Maybe but I love doodles and I love those in particular because I love patterns...here they are: go ad check them out Ornamental
Had some busy days, started teaching lessons again now that the holidays were over, kids needed new clothes and stuff, I missed my Dad's birthday ( don't say nothing - it was bad enough...and the worst was: I've been talking to him on the phone on his special day but didn't realize it !! ) and decided to make a little party for him one day later...this never happened to me before..getting old I guess..
So we had this little party for my dad yesterday. It was great and we had a good time.
Later that day, when the party was over and all were gone, Joshua couldn't sleep as all has been so exciting for him. So he asked if he could go to Jana and sit in her bed to play a bit and we said yes....Jana's bed is pretty high, don't know the english expression for this and he had to climb the ladder to go up. The kids had fun, were laughing and suddenly there was a big bang and this bad quiet minutes afterwards...Josh had fallen down!
I ran into Jana's room, she was upset, shouting at her little brother "Josh what are you doing, what the heck are you doing???!!! " and Joshua was lying on the floor like dead..like in a film when one had fallen out of the window....
I felt sick, grabbed him with caution and he started to cry!...to make it all short for you ( I still get upset when writing this): he was lucky, as he fell down when being half down the ladder (he wanted to go and get one of his matchbox cars) and not from the highest point of the bed. His arm hurt but was not broken..he could express himself clearly and didn't feel sick, just was hurting of course and shocked.

And I've been wondering about DH's reaction: he jumped around, upset and shouting at Jana and Joshua...never seen him like that before... so I tried to calm him, too, as Joshua couldn't understand why dad was this angry..LOL..now it sounds funny..but yesterday I didn't feel like having fun LOL..So all fine today, good luck!!

It's 1 a.m. now and I gotta go to bed! Have a great day and take care, wherever you are!
