New stuff at the store!

Hi! How are you? Did you have a great weekend? I hope so, as I did! It was a marvelous sunny day here in Germany, almost like spring time and this in January! No snow, nothing!!
So me and the kids decided to go out and see my good friend Vittorio to have some ice cream!
The kids love going there, not only because of the yummy ice cream but because Vito always has some more goodies than only ice cream for them. He feeds them with tiny little bits of italian chocolate, they can eat ice cream as much as they want (if mum allows it), eat yummy panini (italian sandwiches) and drink, there's lollipops and gummibears and this nice glittering decoration for ice cream, little flags, paper snowmen and whatever so it is like going into a toy shop with extra food and ice cream LOL And: he won't let me (and nobody of my family) pay.

When we got to know to each other about 10 yrs ago, I felt very bad about this..I mean once or twice, OK, but never? So I quit passing at his ice cream shop which was pretty difficult, as it is on my way to kindergarten. Then, one day he stopped me, asking what's wrong and I told him. I also didn't want my kids to think that they could be taking advantage of him being nice or tell their friends so they would go and ask free ice cream, too! He couldn't really understand what I was talking about, as he simply enjoyed talking with me in italian, so I decided to offer him a deal: I'd do translations without charge for him whenever he needed one, and so we did.

We had a great day, especially the kids, and lots of fun at Vittorio's!

Oh and I've been busy! I uploaded a new kit to the shop and in case you didn't see it so far, here's the preview!

TFL !

Now I hope you will have a beautiful, relaxing end of this day and a good start tomorrow morning. Here it is 23:00 already and today I'm off to bed now, not, as usual, 3 hrs later LOL

Bye and take care wherever you are

Sylvie

Vittorio sounds like such a wonderful soul. How refreshing it must be for you and your family to come by and he can make you happy with food, while you provide him with "food" for his soul where he can express himself in his language.

Your kits look marvelous, too!
